I wished Premium was this cheap here. The cheapeast available premium here is at Costco at +0.06$/litre over regular. Most other places sell it at +0.20$/litre (0.756$/gal) over regular.

Big Oil will just burn or blow up another refinery or find a leaky or ruptured pipeline to jack up gas prices. Then the greedy speculators will blame Bernanke (no QE3 yet), Italy (no bailout yet), Spain (no bailout yet), Iran (does not produce WTI crude, specutraitors), ethanol (yes, this, too), more oil and gas exports, the dollar (at 1.25$ for the euro, on a ten year high end in value vs the euro), unrest in Syria and in your backyards, Ronald McDonald...Sorry Ron, I had to blame SOMEBODY for nine years of ''legal'' oil and price-fixing due in part to virtually no regulation to stop speculators from jacking up oil and gas prices to the stratosphere, folks.

Obama won't regulate the speculators so we can only hope that Romney will.
Gas and food prices will be higher next year under Obama and even higher the year after that, even though oil prices are nowhere near all-time highs because Obama does not care how much we pay for gas, folks. If he really did, he would have "reigned in speculators" or reversed some of Bush's bad moves to deregulate commodity trading while he was president.

Gas prices are at all-time highs for this time of year, completely ignoring true supply and demand for this commodity. Our demand for gasoline is at an 11 year low, meaning that gas prices should be under 2$, not anywhere near 4$. I know this sounds like a comment from an uneducated buffoon but I have followed gas and oil prices since 2003, when gas prices shot up from 1.06$ (Jan 2003) to 1.91$ (July 2003) at my favorite station in six months, when Bush sent our troops to invaded Iraq.

We were all understandably outraged by such a huge jump in gas prices but big oil did not stop there, have made all-time high profits since then.
All I can say is that I am very happy to no longer drive a car except for when I need to rent one. But it's sad when what you pay for gas is at times multiple times what you pay per day for the rental car. Last time I got a car, I paid 15$ per day for two days for the car and a whopping 72$ for gas while driving only 300 miles, I was stumped, couldn't believe how much my gas bill was for driving a so-called "fuel-efficient" Ford Fusion. The car informed under the dashboard per on-board computer that I was getting 29.6 miles a gallon but it was actually about half that.

Don't believe the liberal CNN Obama suckups. Gas prices won't go down as rapidly as they went up.

We'll see. So far GREEDway (Speedway) is keeping the Midwest at sky high prices.

Ought to be 30cts less per gallon per market prices.

Legal robbery at the pump continues. No sheriff in town. CFTC where are you?

“political BS - what data do they have to substantiate this absurd statement?”

With the end of summer driving season and hurricane season nearly over and a return to winter-blend gasoline coming soon, you have three forces pushing for a decline in prices. With the election looming, political forces may help too. I fully expect to see somewhat lower prices this fall.

In Utah last year Labor Day prices did not go down. They went up higher after Labor Day. Actually Labor Day seemed like a bargain compared to a couple of weeks after that.
